Odisha Weather Alert: Thunderstorm, rainfall likely in these districts today

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm and rainfall today, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri,, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh and Khurda,” the Meteorological Centre predicted.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha, it added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next 4-5 days over the districts of Odisha.
