Odisha weather alert: Thunderstorm to lash 10 districts

Bhubaneswar: Multiple districts in the coastal state of Odisha will experience moderate thunderstorm and lightning today, according to a Regional Meteorological Centre.

These conditions will prevail in parts of Koraput, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Nuapada and Nabarangpur between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

The Met Department also forecast gusty wind with speed upto 40 kmph and light rainfall in these areas.

Thunderstorm and lightning alert was issued by the Met Department yesterday for isolated areas in Kalahandi, Koraput, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and Keonjhar.
