Odisha weather alert: Thunderstorm to lash five districts

Bhubaneswar: In a recent weather update, five districts of Odisha are likely to experience moderate thunderstorm, today.

The Regional Met Centre, here issued thunderstorm, lightning and light rainfall for parts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Balasore between 4:15 pm and 7:15 pm today.

Such weather conditions prevailed in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore earlier in the day.

Weather experts predicted that effect of such thunderstorms will result in rise of mercury in other parts of the coastal state.
