Odisha weather: Thunderstorm, rainfall alert for 9 districts

Bhubaneswar: Amidst high humidity in the scorching summer, the thunderstorm and moderate rainfall may bring a slight relief for people in parts of coastal and western Odisha districts today.

The light thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rainfall are likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm, said Bhubaneswar MeT in a bulletin.

In the morning, the alert was issued for three districts in Nuapada, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur till 10.45 am.
