Odisha Weather Update: Thunderstorm likely to occur in these districts today

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here today issued thunderstorm warning for several districts of Odisha for today.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada,Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Gajapati,” the Meteorological Centre forecasted and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.

“Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha,” it added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 4-5 days.
