Odisha Weather Update: Thunderstorm warning issued for these districts for today

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued thunderstorm warning for several districts of Odisha for today.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur,” the Meteorological Centre predicted.

“Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of interior Odisha, Gajapati, Ganjam and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha,” it added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during next 24 hours and gradual fall by 3-4 degree Celsius in subsequent 4 days over the districts of Odisha. Maximum temperature likely to be above normal by 3-4 degree Celsius at a few places over the districts of Odisha during next 24 hours.
