A woman today staged a dharna at Patkura Police Station in Kendrapara district of Odisha alleging her brother-in-law of forcing her for marriage in absence of her husband.

According to reports, the woman’s husband has been missing for long.

However, the complainant's brother-in-law is claiming that her husband has married to another woman in Hyderabad following which he is forcing the woman to marry him.

The woman had filed a written complaint at Patkura Police Station in this regard but police did not take any action.

Later, the woman along with her one-year-old child staged dharna at the police station seeking justice.
