Odisha: Woman Constable among 4 cops injured in mob attack

Bhadrak: Four police personnel, including a woman Constable of Sabarang police station in Bhadrak district were injured in a mob attack at Toranapada village today.

However, police have detained three persons in this connection.

Reportedly, a group clash over land dispute had erupted in the village last night, following which a complaint was lodged with Sabarang police. Today, when a four-member team from the police station went to the village to nab the accused, he and his relatives attacked the cops with wooden sticks.

The injured cops were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Later, two of them were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) as their condition deteriorated.
