Odisha woman kills 11-month-old son over feud with hubby, commits suicide

Keonjhar: In a highly shocking incident, a woman killed her 11-month-old son over a quarrel with her husband at Handiasili village under Patna police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district late last night.

According to reports, a dispute ensued between Sushma Behera and her husband Gopabandhu Behera of the village yesterday which took an ugly turn when the woman strangulated her baby to death.

She later committed suicide by hanging herself, reports added.

On being informed, police reached the spot this morning and arrested Gopabandhu after interrogating him.
