Odisha woman techie Amita Panda wins Mrs India Galaxy

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: IT professional Amita Panda brought laurel for Odisha by clinching Mrs India Galaxy crown in a beauty contest.

The 30-year-old Amita from Bhubaneswar was announced as the winner of Mrs India Galaxy 2018 in the classic category in the event held on August 20 in New Delhi.

Amita is currently working as the software engineer at Mindtree in Bhubaneswar. She has married to Dr Prabhanjan Mohapatra, a cardiologist.

Total 40 glamorous women from different parts of India were shortlisted in various categories in the beauty pageant. TV actress Divya Malik, supermodel Himani Thapa, fashion designer Sadan Pande and celebrity stylist Sylvie Rodgers, Mrs Universe Arabasia Anupama Sharma, TV actor Sunny Sachdeva and actress Surbhi Singla were the juries in the event.
