Odisha woman, two sons die after consuming poison

Bargarh: A woman and her two twin sons died after consuming poison over family dispute at Charapali village under Khuntapali panchayat of Odisha’s Bargarh district today.

The deceased have been identified as Uttara Banchor (55) and her sons Jaga and Balia (23).

According to reports, the three were working at farmland this evening and consumed poison on the spot over a dispute. Locals rescued them in an unconscious state and rushed the three to Bargarh District Headquarters Hospital, where the doctor declared them dead.

Police have recovered the body and started an investigation. Post-mortem of the bodies will be conducted tomorrow, an official said.
