Odisha youth arrested for making girlfriend’s sex video viral

Jagatsinghpur: Police arrested a youth for allegedly making sex video of his girlfriend viral on social media here in Jagatsinghpur district on Sunday night.

The accused identified as Himanshu Pradhan, a native of Balarampur village under Kujang police limits, had developed physical relationship with his girlfriend on the pretext of marriage.

He was arrested following a complaint lodged with Kujang police by the victim against Himanshu. He is also accused of having sexual relation with a number of girls earlier.

According to reports, Himanshu had been keeping physical relationship with his girlfriend in the past two years promising her of marriage. He had shot some intimate moments with his girlfriend on his mobile.

Later, he started blackmailing showing the video forcing her to have relationship with his other friends. When she denied, he threatened her to post the video featuring her intimate moments with him on social media.

Reports said that the accused circulated the video on social media after his girlfriend parted her way.

The victim first informed her family about the viral video and lodged a complaint with police against her beau.

Based on the complaint, police registered a case and nabbed Himanshu last night.
