Balasore: Even as the Odisha police issued advisory against circulation of objectionable photos/videos on social networking platforms, there seems no curb over occurrence of such incidents.

A youth of Malasahi in Badapal area of Odisha's Balasore district, identified as Prashant Samantara, was today arrested by Remuna police for allegedly uploading morphed obscene video of a girl on his Facebook account.

The accused had reportedly edited the video using the victim's photo and later uploaded it on his Facebook account.

Acting on a complaint lodged by the girl's family, Remuna police today arrested Samantara after examining the concerned account.
