Odisha youth consumes poison over India's defeat in World Cup semi-final

Bhawanipatna: A youth of Nuagaon panchayat in Odisha's Kalahandi district allegedly consumed poison after being disappointed over India's defeat in the ICC Cricket World Cup semi-final.

The youth has been identified as Sambharu Bhoi (30). His family members spotted him lying in an unconscious state at a farmland and rushed him to the Dharmagarh sub-divisional hospital.

He was later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital here after his condition deteriorated.
