Odisha youth dies mysteriously in Hyderabad; body found after 4 days

Bhubaneswar: A youth from Odisha died under mysterious circumstances in Hyderabad and police recovered his body four days after his death.

The deceased has been identified as Tukuna Bhoi (35), a resident of Siripari village under Balipatna police limits in Khordha district.

The youth was missing since December 10 in Hyderabad.

According to reports, Tukuna was working at a plywood manufacturing firm in Hyderabad in past seven years. He had left the company following a heated argument with a contractor namely Bapi Patra of Adheinch village over some reason and came back to native place. Two months ago, Tukuna again visited Hyderabad after the contractor called him for work at the same firm.

Family sources said that Tukuna and Bapi had been to market on the fateful evening on Dec 10 to buy some items.

After not finding Tukuna for 4 days, his brother-in-law namely Ashok Bhoi of Marthapur village had asked Bapi about his missing kin. However, the latter avoided his queries.

On Dec 13, the Hyderabad police recovered the youth’s body and informed the company authorities for identification.

Even as the death of Tukuna is still shrouded in mystery, his family members alleged it as a murder.
