Odisha’s Biswa Ranjan Sarangi to umpire at Scindia Gold Cup

Biswa Ranjan Sarangi, Hockey Odisha’s State and National Umpire, has been selected as an umpire in the prestigious 78^th All India Scindia Gold Cup Hockey Tournament to be held at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, from 20^th to 28^th December 2014. He is leaving for Gwalior from Cuttack tonight.

Biswa Ranjan Sarangi, an employee of A.G. office, Bhubaneswar, had earlier conducted National Junior Championship in 2013, Senior National Championship in 2014(Hockey India Championships), Beighton Gold Cup, 2014, Kolkata.

“We at Hockey Odisha wish him all the success,” said Hockey Odisha general secretary Pratap Satpathy.
