Bhubaneswar: In the backdrop of the BJP’s continued attack on BJD and its supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the party today revamped its panel of spokespersons while adding a set of panelists for the electronic media.

BJD President Naveen Patnaik, in a media release, announced that Pratap Keshari Deb, Prasanna Acharya, Amar Prasad Satapathy, Prasant Nanda, Debasish Samantray, Arun Kumar Sahoo, Rabi Narayan Nanda, Samir Ranjan Dash, Sasmit Patra and Sulochana Das are party spokespersons.

The new list of spokespersons has no ministers.

The rift in the ruling party had recently came to fore after several leaders spoken against the party affairs before media.

Meanwhile, the regional party also named its panellists. They are Raseswari Panigrahy (Sambalpur MLA), Boymakesh Ray (Chanadbali MLA), Subash Singh, Mihir Mohanty, Tejashawr Parida, Lenin Mohanty, Chinmoy Sahoo, Debasish Marandi, Santosh Amat and Sulata Deo, the media release added.

Besides, the BJD has appointed Rajendra Prasad Dholakia as Nuapada district president.
