Odisha’s COVID-19 active cases cross 1,000 with 231 fresh infections
Bhubaneswar: The tally of COVID-19 active cases in Odisha today crossed 1,000-mark and stood at 1,035 with 231 fresh infections detected in the state in the last 24 hours.
Of the total 231 fresh infections, 135 are quarantine cases and 96 local contacts. The fresh cases include 30 in the age group of 0-18 years. Khordha district reported highest 99 new cases followed by Cuttack (35), Balasore (13) and Sundargarh (12).
Yesterday, the state had reported 204 single-day cases.
With the fresh infections. the state’s total caseload has surged to 12,90,192.
