Odisha’s COVID-19 daily tally nears 300-mark; Khordha highest at 71
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 daily tally is nearing 300-mark as 290 persons tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s total caseload surged to 3,40,194.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 22 districts , 171 are quarantine cases and 119 local contact cases.
As per the information shared by Information and Public Relation (I & PR) Department, Khordha district registered the highest spike of 71 fresh cases followed by Nuapada (40) and Jharsuguda (21).

It is pertinent to mention here that the state has been reporting over 200 cases daily for the last four days. Yesterday, 25,496 samples were tested in the state.
