Odisha’s COVID-19 tally breaches 2.5 lakh-mark with 2546 fresh cases
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally breaches 2.5 lakh- mark with 2546 more confirmed cases detected in the state in last 24 hours. The tally now stands at 2,52,239.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1504 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1042 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 410 fresh cases followed by Angul (208) and Sundargarh (161).

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 26,891. However, 2,24,273 patients have recovered in the state so far.
Total 45,079 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 37,55,671 tests have been conducted in the state.
