Bhubaneswar: Odisha's COVID-19 tally today crossed 50,000-mark after highest 1876 fresh cases were reported from all the 30 districts in the state, informed the Government.
While 1182 cases have been reported from different quarantine centres, remaining 694 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Khordha registered highest 297 cases followed by Ganjam (260) and Sundargarh (119).
With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 15,509. However, 34,805 patients have recovered in the state so far.
