Odisha’s COVID-19 tally reaches 1819 with 96 fresh cases

Bhubaneswar: A total number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha surged to 1819 with 96 cases were confirmed positive today, informed State Health & Family Welfare Department.

According to the Department, a total of 3920 samples were tested in past 24 hours of which 96 samples came out positive for COVID-19. All the cases were reported from quarantine centres in 18 districts.

With this, the number of active cases now stands at 833 in the State and 977 patients have recovered so far.

Out of 96 new cases, the highest number of cases was reported from Kendrapara and Gajapati districts with 10 each followed by Khordha district (9).
