Odisha adds 911 COVID-19 cases, 66 deaths; tally crosses 10 lakh mark

Bhubaneswar: With detection of 911 fresh COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, Odisha's cumulative tally today crossed 10 lakh-mark and stood at 10,00,084.

As 71,264 samples were tested yesterday, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 1.27 %.

As many as 116 out of the total fresh cases are among the age group of 0-18 years, informed the State Information and Public Relations Department. Of fresh cases reported from 27 districts, 531 are quarantine cases and 380 are local contact cases.

Khordha registered highest 352 fresh cases, followed by Cuttack (88) and Balasore (51).

Meanwhile, 66 more COVID-19 deaths were reported in the state today with highest 11 causalities recorded in Jagatsighpur  district followed by 10 in Cuttack.
