Odisha's leading newspaper daily 'Sambad' today launched its 24x7 news portal-- www.sambad.in-- with an aim of providing its readers latest news across the state on internet platform.

Launching the portal at Sambad Bhawan here, Chairman of Eastern Media Limited and Editor of 'Sambad', Soumya Ranjan Patnaik said, "The new generation wants news on the go and we have accepted the necessity. 'Sambad' is prepared to provide news to its readers as per their demand."

Tanaya Patnaik, Executive Director of Radio Choklate and Kanak News, was also present on the occasion.
