Odisha’s sprinter joins national plankathon challenge

Pune: Dutee Chand, India’s ace sprinter and a national champion in women’s 100 metres race, joined the Plankathon movement launched by a life insurance company. She took up the #PlankForIndia challenge to support India’s emerging sports stars.

In a social media post, Dutee performed a plank and asked her followers to take up #PlankForIndia challenge.

For every plank performed the life insurance company will contribute monetarily towards the training and development of India’s emerging sports stars. The company released a video last week across its social media channels to give #PlankForIndia movement a better outreach.

Someone can take the #PlankForIndia initiative to contribute towards making #LifeGoals of emerging sports stars a reality. All you need to do is

1. Get into a plank posture

2. Take a photo or a video of doing the plank

3. Post the photo / video on Facebook / Instagram / Twitter / LinkedIn

4. Use #PlankForIndia
