Odisha’s Srabani Nanda bags silver in 200-meter race in Federation Cup

Bhubaneswar, Aug 19:

Star Odisha sprinter Srabani Nanda secured the silver medal in the 200-meter run on the last day of the 18th Federation Cup National Senior Athletic Championship at Patiala today. She clocked 23.02 seconds in the event.

Asha Roy of West Bengal bagged the gold with a timing of 22.89 sec while  Archana of Tamil Nadu secured the bronze with a timing of 24.9 sec.

This is the second individual medal Srabani has won in the championship. She had won the silver in the 100-meter sprint on the first day of the event on Sunday.
