Odisha’s Taratarini Temple likely to get facelift as 5T Secy makes surprise visit

Berhampur: The famous Taratarini Temple in Ganjam district will soon get a facelift as 5T Secretary V Karthikeyan Pandian paid a surprise visit to the shrine early this morning and reviewed its ongoing development work.

Accompanied by Collector Vijay Amrut Kulange, the Private Secretary to CM Naveen Patnaik visited the temple and discussed about infrastructure facilities and use of public utilities available there.  He also discussed with temple servitor Bapuji Ranna on issues faced by priests at the temple and assured him of  immediate redress of the same. Ganjam district PD DRDA Siddharth Shankar Swain was also present during the discussion.

With  this, it is expected that the state Government will soon announce a package for transformation and development of  Taratarini Temple. He also visited a few high schools in Hinjili block and discussed with PRIs  on several issues, including education, drinking water, health and road connectivity.

Worth mentioning, the 5T Secretary has been on surprise visits to hospitals and temples across the state to review development works and ensure proper use of public utilities.
