Odisha’s total count reaches 284 with 14 new COVID-19 cases

Bhubaneswar: A total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha rose to 284 with 14 new cases reported from Ganjam, Bhadrak and Sundargarh district this morning.

As per Odisha Government’s COVID dashboard, Odisha has now 284 cases of which 219 are active and 63 persons have recovered so far.

Out of 14 new cases, 12 are from Ganjam and one each from Bhadrak and Sundargarh districts.

With this, total count of COVID positive cases increased to 83 in Ganjam (all active), 25 in Bhadrak with 13 active cases and 13 in Sundargarh, which has 7 active cases so far.

Source said that the person who tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhadrak is a resident of Tihidi Block. Recently, he had returned from Surat.

Similarly, the positive case detected in Sundargarh district is a 68-year-old male from Rourkela containment zone, the I&PR revealed in a tweet.
