Odisha's VSSUT gets new vice-chancellor

Bhubaneswar: Professor Atal Chaudhuri has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor (VC) of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) at Burla in Odisha's Sambalpur district.

The appointment has received the nod of Odisha Governor and chancellor of all universities of the state, Dr Senayangba Chubatoshi Jamir.

Chaudhuri is currently working as professor of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
