Oil tanker catches fire following collision with truck; 1 killed

Sonepur: At least one person was burnt to death and another sustained critical injuries when an oil tanker caught fire after it collided with a truck on Sonepur-Sambalpur road today.

The deceased, who is yet to be identified, was reportedly the driver of the oil tanker. The injured person, who was the helper of the oil tanker, was admitted to a hospital at Ulunda in Sonepur district.

On receiving information, a firefighting team later rushed to spot and doused the flames. Meanwhile, vehicular movements on the road has been disrupted due to the mishap.
