Bhubaneswar: A popular Ollywood (Odia film industry) actress has levelled serious allegations against a filmmaker of blackmailing her with photos of her intimate moments with him.

As per her complaint lodged with the Laxmisagar police, the accused, identified as Dayanidhi Dahima, harassed her sexually and mentally. He also harassed the actress' mother and brother, she alleged.

The complainant said the accused took multiple photos of their intimate moments while they were in a relationship. Later, he started blackmailing her using the pics and sent those to her mother and some of her acquaintances, she said in the complaint.

The actress further alleged that he has been demanding her to return all remunerations received by her for professional work in which he was involved. He threatened her to make the photos public if she didn't return the money, she said.

The victim has also accused him of groping and assaulting her at her college in front of other students, during which he tore her uniform.

The filmmaker allegedly humiliated the actress and her family members on various social media platforms with derogatory and objectionable posts in a bid to malign her image.

He is also accused of creating fake social media accounts of the actress and disseminating false information about her.

Further probe by police was underway.
