One dead in sword, crude bomb attack in Odisha

Berhampur: One person was killed and another injured as miscreants hurled bombs at them near Fast Gate area in Southern Odisha’s business hub here this evening.

According to reports, six motorcycle-borne miscreants attacked two persons at Fast Gate area under Bada Bazar police limits here with swords and hurled crude bombs at them.

In the incident, Upendra Behera died while Sushant Patra was rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.

Police reached the spot and are investigating into the matter.
