Malkangiri: A person was killed and 10  others suffered critical injuries after a four-wheeler overturned at Bonda Ghati in Malkangiri district today.

The deceased has been identified as Soma Mandra of Dandipada village.

Sources said a commander vehicle carrying the passengers was en-route to Khairaput from Mudulipada when the vehicle turned turtle reportedly due to beak failure. While Soma died on the spot, 10 critically injured were rushed to a hospital at Khairaput for treatment.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and began an inquiry into the incident.
