One killed, 10 injured in separate road mishaps in Odisha

Nabarangpur/Nayagarh:  A person was killed while 10 others suffered injuries in two separate road mishaps in Nayagarh and Nabarangpur districts.

Reportedly, a person was killed and another critically injured in a collision between two bikes near Karaga under Umerkote block late last night. The deceased has been identified as Kailash  Majhi. Critically-injured Ranvijay Sharma was later rushed to a nearby hospital.

In Nayagarh, nine persons were injured, including five critically, after  the bus they were travelling in rammed into a roadside tree near Gania .

The incident took place when the bus was en-route to Kumbharpada from Nayagarh. All the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, from where five critically-injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) here.
