One killed, 15 injured as school vehicle hits bike in Odisha

Balugaon, Jan 18:

At least one person was killed and 15 others sustained injuries when a school transport vehicle hit a two-wheeler at Dhuanla near Balugaon in Odisha’s Khurda district killing the biker on the spot today.

According to reports, a small commercial vehicle carrying students of Sishu Sishu Vidya Mandir rammed into a bike killing the rider. At least 15 passengers, mostly school children, sustained grievous injuries in the road mishap.

The injured were rushed to Balugaon hospital for treatment.

Three critically injured students were shifted to Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar for medical attention. Their condition is stated to be critical.
