One killed, four injured in mishap in Odisha steel plant
Kalinganagar: A worker was killed and another four were injured in a mishap at the Jindal Stainless Ltd factory at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex in Odisha’s Jajpur district today.
According to reports, a worker identified as Jaladhar Pati (40) was killed when the acid tank at the Hot Strip Mill of the steel unit burst.

Golak Barik, Gagan Das, Abhimanyu Behera and Nupur Barik, who were working along with Pati at the steel mill, were injured in the accident, reports added.
Two of them Golak and Gagan have been shifted to a private hospital at Cuttack as their condition turned critical, reports further said.
Following the mishap, tension mounted at the mill. Police are keeping a close watch on the situation, reports added.
