One killed in elephant attack in Odisha

Dhenkanal, Jan 31:

One person was killed in elephant attack in Kaberi village under Gondia block in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district early morning today.

The deceased has been identified as Hrushikesh Pradhan. He was attacked by the elephant while he was working in the backyard of his house, reports said.

Hrushikesh was killed on the spot. On receiving the report local police has seized the body and sent it for post-mortem to the district headquarters hospital at Dhenkanal, reports added.
