One killed, two critical in truck accident in Odisha's Angul

Angul: A speeding truck hit a stationary truck from rear killing a person and critically injuring two others near Talcher bypass in Odisha's Angul district, today.

According to reports, a chicken-laden truck heading towards Rourkela from Parjanga rammed into another truck which was parked on roadside, early this morning. The driver of the chicken-laden truck, identified as Satrughna Yadav, died under the impact of the collision while two occupants of the ill-fated vehicle sustained grievious injuries.

On being informed, Fire personnel rushed to the spot, rescued the victims and admitted them to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
