One killed, two injured in lightning strikes

Kendrapara, Apr 25:

A 52-year old person was killed and two others sustained critical burn injuries in three separate incidents of lightning strikes in Odisha’s Kendrapara district today, police sources said.

The deceased person has been identified as Prasant Swain of Dhiabalrampur village under the Kendrapara sadar police station limits.

A 16-year-old in Kendrapara township was injured in lightning strike while another person was also injured under similar circumstances in Marshaghai, police added.
