Bhubaneswar: One more COVID-19 patient died of the disease in Odisha, informed State Health & Family Welfare Department today.
Regret to report the death of a 60-year old Covid positive Male of Puri district, while under treatment at hospital.
He was also suffering for long from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

With this, the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 rose to 12 in Odisha.
Earlier, 11 patients had succumbed to the deadly virus in the State, of which 6 in Ganjam district, 4 in Khordha district (3 in Bhubaneswar) and 1 in Cuttack district.
Meanwhile, another COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nabarangpur district died of other complications, confirmed the State H&FW Department.
Source said that the COVID patient was suffering from jaundice.
With the casualty, the number of deceased other than COVID-19 reaches 4 in the State.
Earlier in the day, 179 fresh cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the State.
