One more journalist succumbs to COVID-19 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: With steep hike in COVID-19 cases in Odisha, one more journalist succumbed to the deadly virus in last 24 hours here today.

The journalist has been identified as K. CH. Ratnam from Gajapati district. He was working with the ‘Eenadu’, a Telugu newspaper.

Source said that the 75-year-old journalist died of novel coronavirus while undergoing treatment at a COVID hospital in Bhubaneswar.

He is the second journalist, who lost his life due to COVID-19 in Odisha.

Yesterday, a journalist from Covid hotspot Ganjam district had died of the deadly virus.
