One more nurse tests COVID-19 positive in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: One more staff nurse working at ICU ward of the Capital Hospital has tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhubaneswar.

The nurse was on leave for 4 days. She underwent COVID-19 test before joining the duty on Thursday. However, she was confirmed positive for the virus the in test.

Following the test report came positive, the staff nurse was shifted to a COVID Care Centre and the ICU ward was sanitised to prevent further spread of the infection.

With the fresh case, total 3 staff nurses have been infected with the coronavirus in the Capital Hospital so far.

Meanwhile, 6 more staff of the Capital Police Station in Bhubaneswar have been infected with the COVID-19. Earlier, one woman constable was tested positive for the virus.

Also, two officials of a private bank located at Saheed Nagar area have tested positive for COVID-19 in the city.
