One more swine flu patient identified in Odisha

Another person afflicted with swine flu has been identified in Odisha, informed sources in the directorate of Public Health here today. The afflicted person is a doctor by profession, the source added.

Swine flu claimed its first victim of the year in the state yesterday when 42-year old Aditya Narayan Jena, a cousin of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, died due to the disease at the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack.

With this, the number of patients who have tested positive for the dreaded disease in the state has risen to five, including the person who died of the disease yesterday.
