Cuttack, July 25:
In a bid to trace out missing children of Odisha in and outside the state, a fresh round of operation ‘Muskan’ began from here today. As part of the operation, teams will go outside the state to search and rescue missing children from Odisha, informed Crime Branch Special DG BK Sharma.
The operation is a joint initiative by the Crime Branch and the Labour, Women and Child Development department.
The drive will be conducted in two phases between July 25 and August 24 2016.
In its first phase from July 25 to August 9, the search operation will be conducted inside the state and from August 10 to 24 the teams will operate outside Odisha.
As many as 10 special teams have been formed for this search operation which will operate in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Jharkhand, added Sharma.
