OPSC publishes Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021 results

Cuttack: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) in Cuttack published the results of Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021, today.

A total of 5,296 candidates (including 1,749 women) have been selected for the main written exams, of which 2,802 (944-W) are from unreserved (UR) category, 475 (144-W) from SEBC, 877 (294-W) from SC and 1,142 (367-W) from ST, a press release issued by OPSC for the purpose mentioned.

The Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination is conducted in three phases like: Preliminary Exams, Main Exams and Personality Test. There is a total vacancy for 433 different posts including 142 women candidates, of which 230 (77-W) are meant for the unreserved (UR) category, 39 (12-W) for SEBC, 71 (23-W) for SC and 93 (30-W) for ST, the official communiqué stated.

At least 58,241 (20,930-W) numbers of applications were received for the OCS 2021 exams. However, as many as 29,295 (10,284-W) candidates appeared in the Preliminary Examination held on October 16.

The Main written examination is tentatively scheduled for February 2023, the source said.
