OPSWA donates to CMRF for COVID-19 pandemic

Bhubaneswar: Representatives of Odisha Professional Social Workers’ Association (OPSWA) today donated a sum of Rs 1,00,100 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support the COVID-19 relief efforts of the state.

The cheque was handed over to the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Kumar Jena in the presence of other members of the association.

It may be recalled here that OPSWA was established in 1992 and since then it has been involved in various social work.

The members emphasized on the social and mental well-being of people from various strata post the pandemic during the brief discussion with SRC.

Among others, Jharana Swain, Ashok Kumar Behera, Tejeswar Parida, Sisir Bahinipati, Swapna Tripathy were present on the occasion.
