Bhubaneswar: The Indian Metrological Department’s (IMD) regional centre today issued orange warning and yellow warning to several districts of Odisha in view of cyclonic circulations over south Andhra Pradesh and neighborhood.
The MeT centre issued Orange Warning indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Bhadrak and Ganjam till 8.30 AM on September 25.
Metrological Department also issued Yellow Warning indicating heavy rainfall for Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Boudh and Dhenkanal districts till 8.30 AM on September 25.
From 8.30 AM, September 25 till 8.30 AM September 26, the weathermen issued Yellow Warning indicating heavy rainfall over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Baragarh and Gajapati.
From 8.30 AM, September 26 till 8.30 AM September 27, Â Yellow warning (heavy rainfall) issued for the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
From 8.30 AM, September 27 till 8.30 AM September 29, light to moderate rain and thundershower likely to occur at many places over districts of Odisha.
