Orissa HC’s Judge Justice Chitta Ranjan Dash transferred to Calcutta HC

Cuttack: The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended repatriation of Orissa High Court’s Judge Justice Chitta Ranjan Dash to Calcutta High Court.

Justice Subhasis Talapatra, the present Judge of Tripura High Court (HC),  has been transferred to Orissa HC.

Besides, the apex court’s collegium has recommended repatriation of four other Judges.

Andhra Pradesh HC’s current Judge Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah has been transferred to Patna HC while Manipur HC’s Judge Justice Lanusungkum Jamir has been repatriated to Gauhati HC.

Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, the present Judge of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, has been transferred to Bombay HC. Similarly, Madhya Pradesh HC’s Judge Justice Purushaindra Kaurav will assume the charge of Delhi HC’s Judge.
