OSRTC awarded for in-bus ticketing through GPRS enabled ETMs

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) has been awarded with the SKOCH Order-of-Merit Award-2019 for in-bus ticketing through GRPS/RFID based Electronics Ticket Machines (ETMs).

The award will be given during the 56^th SKOCH Summit to be held in New Delhi on February 25.

OSRTC has qualified for the award through an evaluation process based on three parameters-Early Bird, Jury Evaluation and Popular Vote. With this, the State transport body will receive the award for the third time.

Earlier, it was awarded for ‘Implementation of Tally ERP’ in 2016 and ‘Web-based Ticket Booking System with Mobie App’ in 2018.
