OSRTC employees stage 12-hour bandh in Odisha’s Ganjam

Ganjam: Employees of Odisha State Road and Transport Corporation (OSRTC) called for a 12-hour bandh in Bhanjanagar today.

According to reports, the members of action committee that includes 18 associations called for a bandh demanding pending salary of seven months and the relocation of the Bhanjanagar OSRTC bus stand.

Though the transport employees have been agitating for the last nine days, the newly formed action committee staged the bandh today that has brought normal life to a halt.

All entry points to the town have been closed thus affecting vehicular movement. Market place, educational institutions and government offices have also been closed.
